The nice part about voice overs today is that one can do it from the comfort of one's home . . . in many cases a spare bedroom or basement. Myself, I prefer my nicely treated voice overist booth. It's very, very quiet. No chirping birds, neighbor's mowing lawns, or office chit-chat leaking into the recording. That can be quite distracting and rather unprofessional sounding, especially if you do work for the likes of Cisco, or Porsche, or Ford, to name a few.
So there you have it. Drop me a line if you'd like a custom audition. Really!
